At some point in most womens lives, they will be forced to deal with the appearance of unwanted facial hair. Those disturbing hairs that pop out from the base of the chin and appear to be made of the toughest substance ever invented are a fact of life. Women have been trying to come up with a definite answer to this persistent concern for quite some time. Plucking, bleaching, pulling, shaving, waxing, and even burning are all methods frequently used to rid ourselves of these unwanted growths.

A recent method of removing unwanted hair that has become particularly popular is laser removal. Laser hair removal methods finally offer the promise of the possible eradication of the facial hair. The process by which laser hair removal centers operates is through the use of lasers to basically send heat through the hair into the hair follicle. This heat tricks the follicle into going into a inactive state which means no more growth. It normally takes several treatments before you will notice significant results and it is not the most comfortable remedy to go through. However, they say that beauty is painful, and this is absolutely worth the pain. After the first procedure period it only takes one or two visits per year to maintain and every woman knows that sounds like heaven.

The chin is not the only area that tends to sprout unwanted growth. The chest, underarms, legs, abdomen, thighs, back, and bikini are all spots that are troublesome when it comes to hair control. Laser hair removal works for all of these areas and has proven to be quite successful most of the time. With any procedure, there is no assurance that it will be 100% successful all of the time, but it has a higher success rate than many.

Laser hair removal centers can be found everywhere. They have become a popular option among beauty consultants. Making sure to have a knowledgeable physician is very important when taking into consideration any procedure. It is not cheap to have laser hair treatments, but in comparison, the expense of razors, creams, depilatories, and wax, it actually winds up being more cost effective in the long run.

Having hair that is not desired can be an embarrassing and humiliating thing, specifically for women that have it in places where it is obvious to everyone around us. Laser hair removal has been a true light in a dark place, providing us a choice other than self-torture that does not work. It is time to throw out all of those muslin strips, get rid of those half used tubs of wax, break all of those razors in half and put away that depilatory for cleaning slow drains. Grab the hair by the roots, literally, and find a laser treatment center.

Spider veins, also called telangiectasias, are unattractive and is often very tender. While spider veins most often affect the legs, it is not unusual for them to occur on or around the face. The spider vein condition is similar to varicose veins, but normally less severe. Spider veins occur due to a weakening of valves in the veins, causing a backup of blood to leak into the surrounding tissue. The veins are stretched and damaged, occasionally causing them to become extended and the tissue to grow. Exposure to the sun can make spider veins worsen because the sun can break down the vital collagen in skin cells. Should the spider veins get worse and the veins begin to bulge it can become especially painful, inflamed, and the risk of ulcers forming on the legs and feet increases. Spider veins are also a frequent cause of irreparable skin discolorations. There are a number of treatments for spider vein removal. Some of these spider vein treatments were extremely agonizing, required incisions, surgery and a long recuperation time.

Today, with the advancement of medical technology, spider vein removal spider vein removal treatments pose very little threat to be concerned about. Thanks to innovative advancements in spider vein treatments it is now possible to reduce the symptoms without extended recovery time or painful incisions. Laser spider vein removal is a specialized procedure, which is typically most successful for small and medium sized spider veins. Picking lasers for treating spider veins does not involve incisions. It is a quick and easy procedure that causes very little discomfort.

The process of laser spider vein removal involves a laser that is applied to the skin. The energy from the Laser will cause the spider veins to coagulate and shrink. While the spider veins may appear to be darker and more visible after Laser spider vein removal, they will begin to diminish over a two to six week period. Depending on the severity of your spider veins, two or three spider vein treatments may be required over a period of time.

To treat larger spider veins a procedure called Sclerotherapy can be used. Sclerotherapy does not need anesthesia, and can be accomplished in a doctor’s office. Sclerotherapy treatment is performed by injecting a solution directly into the vein. This solution causes the blood vessel to swell and the blood to clot. The spider vein will turn into scar tissue over time and disappear. Sclerotherapy is an useful spider vein treatment which usuallty begins showing results within three to six weeks. Spider vein treatments only take about 30 to 45 minutes depending on the quantity of spider veins treated. Only mild discomfort has been reported with this procedure, such as slight cramping and a slight burning sensation. A normal spider vein treatment can result in improvement up to 50 percent. Sometimes a dual treatment that includes both laser removal as well as sclerotherapy is a good choice. Sclerotherapy will first heal the bigger spider veins while the minor spider veins are treated using laser spider vein treatment. Spider veins don’t have to be an upsetting part of your body and life.

Since so many people suffer from varicose veins in the U.S., there is an wealth of capable doctors. Phlebologists, sometimes called Venologists learn the makeup and diseases of veins and specialize in identifying, remedying as well as removing them. As a result, a varicose vein physician is inclined to possess the extensive aptitude that sufferers of varicose veins need. Healings and/or surgical treatment for this malady is quite frequent and a wealth of familiarity and progress concerning measures has been gathered by Venologists.

The great news is that a varicose vein can be taken care of and/or detached successfully and safely. There are a number of important, prudent reasons to do so. These rational reasons crown the listing of benefits of varicose vein removal.

While some individuals experience no symptoms, normally people endure several or every of the next signs. These indicators span from mild soreness to excruciating pain. Signs can consist of tenderness, throbbing, spasms, burning and itching throughout the varicose vein or in the legs and/or puffiness in the legs.

If a person decides not to try a varicose vein removal treatment, the condition tends to get worse. Varicose veins do not get better without a treatment program. All too often, the pain and discomfort little by little begins to interfere with the normal behavior that designate a healthy lifestyle, such as simply walking, standing or sitting comfortably.

Prevention of Potential Complications of Untreated Varicose Veins

Just as some people experience no signs, some never develop complications but none the less the danger exists that complications will arise. These are the most regular problems that come about from an untreated varicose veins.

Blood clots or on the surface thrombophlebitis may grow and the varicose veins may develop irritation. A insignificant bump can provoke bleeding. A brown staining can arise around the ankle. This is termed venous pigmentation and is caused by dripping of blood from the veins. More serious problems such as boils or venous ulceration and intense swelling may crop up.

Regaining Your Self Confidence

The emotional and intellectual effects of dealing with varicose veins should not be taken lightly. Often the victim will gradually begin to shun activities they once relished, such as swimming or other healthy sports or exercise activities because they are self mindful about wearing the fitting garments for such activities owing to their varicose veins.

Everyone has the right to take pleasure in and wholly partake in the life experience. Why allow a situation that can be remedied to impose limits on your pleasure in life? Take the initial step to recover your enjoyment and full involvement in life by conferring with a varicose vein doctor about having varicose vein treatment or varicose vein removal.

Sclerotherapy is an outpatient therapy for the treatment of varicose veins and spider veins in the lower extremities. The procedure involves a chemical solution being injected into the blood vessels in order to eliminate them from view.

The procedure is rapid, and usually requires less than one hour to finish. After the procedure has been completed, patients are advised to wear support stockings for a period of time in order to constrict the treated veins. Patients are typically able to resume their usual activities right away.

Both males and females can benefit from sclerotherapy treatment.

How Does Sclerotherapy Treatment Work?

Sclerotherapy is typically performed in a doctor’s office. A 23% sodium chloride solution is injected directly into the problem veins with a very fine syringe, causing minimum discomfort to the patient. sometimes, a mild local anesthetic such as lidocaine may be added to the solution. The sodium chloride solution irritates the inner walls of the veins, causing them to swell and stick together. The blood flowing through the varicose or spider veins is diverted to normal veins; the problem veins are eventually replaced by scar tissue, which becomes nearly invisible over a few weeks.

How Well Does Sclerotherapy Treatment Work?

Most patients respond well to sclerotherapy, with 50%-80% of their varicose or spider veins being reduced or eliminated after only one session. It normally takes 3-6 weeks for the solution to show an effect, with larger veins taking up to four months to disappear. For many patients, between two and four sessions are sufficient to achieve the desired result; patients with milder cases may only need one or two sessions. Once varicose veins have been eliminated, they do not reappear, although new varicose or spider veins may appear in other areas of the leg.

In a few cases (less than 10%), varicose veins are unaffected by the treatment, and an different method of treatment (such as laser therapy) must be sought.

What are the Side Effects?

The side effects of sclerotherapy are nominal, and typically include slight soreness or cramping. With larger varicose veins, a hard, lumpy area may develop which disappears over several months. Redness may also occur around the injection sites, which typically resolves in a few days. Brown lines or spots in the area are also not uncommon and disappear quickly.

More serious side effects are rare, but if you develop any of the following symptoms, you should contact your doctor immediately:

1. Sudden inflammation of the leg;

2. Swelling or red streaking in the groin area

3. Ulcers which appear around the injection site.

Once varicose veins have been eliminated, they do not recur, although new varicose or spider veins may develop in other areas of the leg.

In a few cases (less than 10%), varicose veins are not eliminated by the procedure, and an different method of treatment (such as laser therapy) must be tried.

What are the Side Effects?

The side effects of sclerotherapy are minimal, and typically include slight soreness or cramping. With larger varicose veins, a hard, lumpy area may develop which fades over several months. Redness may also occur around the injection sites, which normally resolves in a few days. Brown lines or spots in the area are also not uncommon and clear up quickly.

More serious side effects are unlikely, but if you experience any of the following symptoms, you should call your doctor immediately:

1. Sudden inflammation of the leg;

2. Inflammation or red streaking near the groin area

3. Ulcers which appear in the vicinity of the injection site.
